Job Summary:
We are looking for an empathetic, responsible Caregivers to provide essential care-related services to our valued clients in and around the Boise, Idaho area. You will be responsible for providing daily assistance, companionship, and emotional support to clients in their own homes or in a facility's assisted living setting. This is a Part Time - hourly, In-Home care role.
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer competitive pay of $16 to $20 per hour, paid semi-monthly. Additional benefits and bonus opportunities may be available.
Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and daily assistance to our valued clients.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, such as bathing, using the toilet, dressing and undressing, eating, and walking.
• Monitor client’s wellbeing and notify the appropriate parties should any changes arise.
• Plan and execute activities and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
• Help with daily housekeeping tasks, including light cleaning, laundry, and meal prep.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and other important activities.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a hospice, home health, home care, memory care or other related fields
• Knowledge of how to sanitize and maintain a sterile environment
• Ability to handle physical labor as needed for transferring and moving clients
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work some weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check
