Duties:
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing information about products, services, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking merchandise as needed.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and replenishing items as necessary.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and securely.
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
- Previous experience in retail sales is not required.
- Ability to effectively sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Proficient in English language (verbal and written).
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating transactions accurately.
