DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifies, contacts, and manages potential clients.

• Provides for a smooth transition for incoming guests, troubleshooting, and patient advocacy .

• Facilitate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and their families.

• Assess and review medical records in order to determine eligibility.

• Assist patients and families through the admissions and referral process.

• Communicate with case managers and physicians, manage insurance precertification, provide marketing to healthcare providers, and relations management.

• Adhere to Villa’s IT standards, striving to maintain safeguards in passwords, data and other relevant areas.

• Adhere to Villa’s Compliance and Ethics standards, striving to maintain compliance in all areas including, but not limited to HIPAA, Confidentiality, Financials and Clinical practice.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to convey information accurately to both internal and external parties.

• Broad medical competency.

• Ability to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with others, including associates, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.

• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

• Basic-advanced computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.

• Positive disposition and a willingness to socialize.

• Strong propensity for cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork.

• Travel: Up to 10%.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field strongly preferred.

• Clinical License preferred; Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Respiratory Therapist (RT).

• Minimum of two years of former healthcare sales experience strongly preferred

• Extensive healthcare sales work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

• Former sales training preferred.

• Valid driver’s license.

ENVIRONMENTALANDPHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

• Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.

• Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards. Understanding and adherence to company safety standards and protocols required.

• Meet all health requirements as needed.
