Job Title: Facilities Manager/Custodian

General Summary: The Facilities Manager/Custodian is responsible for the ongoing care and maintenance and cleaning of our indoor facilities, and the areas immediately surrounding our facilities.

Compensation: $19/hour - 20 hours per week, vacation, paid holidays.

• Work with the team to identify, schedule, and complete daily and weekly tasks in the Visitor Center and Education Center/Barn.

• Complete daily/weekly cleaning tasks as assigned - vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, take out the trash, clean bathrooms, etc.

• Assistance with specialized maintenance tasks such as painting, detail cleaning, etc. performing other duties as assigned.

• Communicate with the office manager regarding cleaning supplies/equipment to be ordered.

• Assist in setting-up special events.

Job Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintenance.

• Must be able to operate essential cleaning equipment and tools, and have a basic understanding of them, including their care and maintenance.

• Ability to focus and prioritize with a keen eye to cleanliness and an attention to detail.

• Availability on occasional weekends and evenings is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
