VIKOR is currently looking to add to its team of dedicated individuals with a full-time Horizontal Directional Drill Locator. As an HDD Drill Locator, you will be responsible for guiding the drill path for a HDD Drill Operator as well as identifying and marking of underground utility line locations on sites around the Midwest and Mountain states.

General Responsibilities

• 3-8 weeks of travel rotations on the road, year round
• Underground utility location including water, gas, sewer, and electrical lines
• Operation of Subsite, Falcon, or similar drill head locator
• Operation of private utility locator to identify existing utilities in running line 
• Creation of bore logs
• Driving trucks and pulling trailers
• Installation of HDPE conduit underground 
• Underground grounding and cathodic protection installation
• Operation of skid steers, backhoes, excavators, trenchers and compaction equipment
• Provide employee required tools
• Treat company tools and equipment with good care and keeping
• Receive and follow direction of crew chief
• Assist crew chief in assuring jobs are brought in on time
• Assist in training new employees as directed
