Viking is Hiring a Receiving Clerk Near Holden, ME
Viking is looking for a motivated person who can multi-task in a busy environment. The individual buts be organized, detail oriented, able to work alone and well with others.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming materials and verify type and quantities are accurate
- Tag and put incoming freight and special orders in appropriate areas
- Track and process returns to venders
- Work closely with Dispatcher to communicate and schedule customer deliveries on orders when they are received
- Prepare customer orders to include retrieving merchandise and materials from storage areas in accordance with customer invoices.
- Operate fork lift to load, unload and stock merchandise as needed.
- Adhere to all approved company policies and procedures.
- Report customer complaints to Manager or Officers.
- Inventory goods and notify Manager of shortages and needed goods to be ordered.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Removal & Shoveling of Snow from material piles and yard during Winter Months

- Prior lumber yard experience helpful.
