Night Shift Warehouse Load Supervisor - St. Cloud

Hours : 7 p.m. - 4 a.m.

Viking Coca Cola is currently looking to hire a night shift warehouse load supervisor. This position is a working management position for a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced environment.

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the day-to-day loading operation to assure that trucks get loaded accurately, safely, and on time.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
• Assisting in supervision and helping direct the daily activities and productivity of load crew.
• Counting and verifying accuracy of loads and signing pick ticket for accountability.
• Assisting in interviews and hiring employees.
• Providing training to new employees.
• Identifying employee skills and developing them by coaching and training.
• Providing input on performance reviews and providing continual feedback on performance.
• Recommending pay changes based on performance.
• Assisting 2nd Shift Warehouse Manager coordinate work hours including scheduling for breaks, approving time off requests, tracking absences and timekeeping.
• Training and monitoring crew for compliance with safe work practices.
• Assuring the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Assisting the crew by performing duties required for load fulfillment.
• Assisting in reworking warehouse layouts.
• Fostering a cooperative and harmonious working climate that maximizes employee morale and productivity.
• Recommending, implementing and administering preventive maintenance policies and procedures to enhance operations.
• Seeking out efficiencies in warehouse operations and making recommendations.
• Participating in the development of department goals and objectives.
• Serving as backup during absence of Warehouse Manager.
• Ensuring that company policies and procedures are consistently administered to all employees.
• Performing check in and checkout procedures for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Assisting in jockeying of tractors and trailers as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Minimum Education and Experience;
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Warehouse experience required.
