Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
- Provide training to employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and hazard recognition
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training sessions, and other relevant data
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving safety performance
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices
- Prepare reports on safety performance for management review

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety role
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers compensation laws, and other relevant legislation
- Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures
- Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations
- Proficient in report writing and record keeping
- First aid certification is preferred
