Position Overview 

Viewpointe is actively developing its Enterprise DevOps program. The DevOps Administrator takes direction from Enterprise Tools leadership to support automation and orchestration for delivery of Viewpointe solutions in Azure.

Ideal candidates will be career DevOps platform administrators, with expertise in supporting and configuring Ansible Automation Platform, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, JFrog Artifactory, and Azure DevOps.

A successful candidate will contribute by deploying, configuring, managing, and providing subject matter expertise in the use of the tools necessary for the Cloud Services and Development teams to successfully deploy solutions in Azure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure new and updated DevOps tools, based on end user and Security requirements.
• Manage and maintain the DevOps tools, based on end user and Security requirements.
• Maintain version currency of the deployed DevOps tools.
• Participate in intra-department thought leadership to maintain efficiencies in deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with Solution Development and Deployment teams to implement industry best practices for automation and orchestration of solution deployments in Azure.
• Collaborate with Solution Development teams to identify integration and handoff points between automated infrastructure build and automation middleware and application deployments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for design, configuration, and implementation of managed DevOps tools.
• Positively and proactively participate in Enterprise Tools planning and execution. 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• 10 years minimum technology related work experience
• 5 years minimum related work experience with two or more of the following: Ansible Automation Platform, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, JFrog Artifactory, Azure DevOps
• 5 years of systems administrator experience in Public Cloud or large Enterprise Level Data Centers.
• 5 years working with Azure orchestration and automation.
• 5 years working with Azure platforms and technologies - Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Extensive knowledge of automation, orchestration, and configuration management technologies, including Ansible.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Git and CI/CD concepts.
• Competent programmatic skills that leverage languages and scripting used in automation and orchestration of solution deployments in Azure.
• Technical skills in server operating systems (Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux) including basic administration.
• Technical knowledge across the infrastructure stack - network, storage, and compute.
• Experience working in a mission critical enterprise environment, with change control, incident management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong cross-competency collaboration skills.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks including work at computer terminals. This position will work remotely. At times can require overnight travel as needed for training, team meetings, or industry events.
