Job Title: Operations Coordinator (Program Assistant)
Job Code: GSS080/Administrative Support 1
Shift: PRN (19 hours per week on average)
Job Hours: Times May Vary
Base Location: Remote

The operations coordinator provides general support to the overall operations of View Point Health. The operations coordinator works closely with the Vice President of Operations and other members of management to offer support and ensure that all administrative needs are met. Helps ensure that routine activities are organized and executed in a timely manner. Coordinates meetings, calendar functions, and travel arrangements, as well as types and prepares correspondence, PowerPoint presentations and materials for distribution.

The operations coordinator maintains databases, logs, and other records of routine information to include staff meeting correspondence, corrective action plans, and standard operating procedures. Compiles information from these sources and research other data sources as necessary. Reconciles reporting inaccuracies or omissions using appropriate resources. Generates and distributes reports that are accurateand timely.Maintains organized and accessible filing system and follows confidentiality regulations regarding maintenance and release of file information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts various administrative tasks as required in support of the Operations of View Point Health.
  • Reviews emails and phone calls and responds appropriately.
  • Works to manage changing priorities in support of the Operations of View Point Health
  • Works on various special projects as assigned or required.
  • Works to maintain overall maintenance of overflow tasks and duties as needed or assigned.
  • Communicates pertinent Operations information to programs as needed.
  • Consults with VP of Operations to receive guidance on priority assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED AND Two (2) years of general office or administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad overall knowledge of VPH organizational structure and general operations.

Requirements/Competencies:

  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
  • Requires long periods of sitting/standing.
  • Must have valid Georgia driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
  • Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
  • Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
  • Other duties as assigned.
