View Point Health Job Title : Community LivingSupport (CLS)Job Code : SSS010Shift : Evening ShiftJob Hours : Full-Time (Monday - Thursday and Saturday 2p - 10p)Base Location : Covington, GADivision / Department / Program : Independent Enterprise The Community Living Supports (CLS) Worker will provide support to individuals with intellectual developmental disability in the home and community settings.

Under direct supervision, assists with daily living activities at the person's home, in a daytime non-residential facility or a residential facility.

Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to consumers / students in a state school, hospital, juvenile detention facility, residence, group home, workshop, or supported employment environment Duties & Responsibilities : One-to-one interactions with the individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities to increase / maintain self-sufficiency through skill building in areas such independent living skills, health care, personal care training and behavioral / productivity needs.

Provide assistance and general supervision for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities supervise and assisting the individuals with activities of daily living helping the individuals with cleaning and other household duties transporting individuals to and from community services and social events Attend training sessions as needed and all other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES : Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.

Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.

Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws.

Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to professional development, ethics, and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standard.

Must maintain a professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up. Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or G.

E.D. AND any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Valid Georgia State drivers license required. Must be 21 years of age Preferred Qualifications : Experience working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.1 year experience with similar work experience. Requirements / Competencies : Must be able to lift 20 poundsRequires long periods of sitting / standingMust have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policyCandidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screensAny combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note : Some positions may require a valid driver's licenseOther duties as assigned.
