Our Prairie du Chien, WI office is now hiring an Engineering/Surveying Project Manager. The Engineering/Surveying Project Manager is the manager for multiple public and/or private projects. This position is responsible for engaging in planning and consulting for various projects, conducting engineering and/or surveying work, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Provide an excellent client experience by reviewing customer expectations for project needs and maintaining communication with the client regarding project changes that may impact fees.
Creates and monitors project scope, design schedules, budgets and contracts.
Provides mentoring to entry-level project engineers in group on financial management, customer services, and the client management process.
Serves as the primary point of contact with clients while striving to build strong, long-term relationships as well as maintain current relationships with existing clients.
Assess projects to reduce and actively manage risks, while ensuring that risk management practices are in place.
Delegates work to the project team, answers questions, monitors process, and review completed work.
Prepare proposals, including fee estimates.
Prepares project billing and invoicing.
Collaborates with the team to coordinate project decisions in conjunction with the client and other stakeholders.

We are looking for candidates who have a Professional Engineering License for the State of Wisconsin and/or a Professional Land Surveying License and 5 years of project management experience. Candidates for this position should also have strong people skills and be able to effectively communicate with clients and other team members. Candidates should also be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
