Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI) is seeking a full time Video Fellow for the Summer 2024. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from a seasoned creative team.

As a Video Fellow at BPI, you’ll be responsible for assisting members of the team edit and motion graphics team by composing rough cuts and pulling assets as needed, as well as taking the lead editing various short form projects. We are looking for a highly organized early-stage editor who can balance multiple projects and tight deadlines with a positive attitude and collaborative approach.

In this role, you will:

• Help to edit and produce video ads and content for BPI’s clients, ranging from Fortune 5 companies to issue advocacy organizations to political campaigns
• Assist senior editors and producers by creating broll stringouts, assembly edits, sourcing video and audio assets
• Finalize video ads and content for shipping, adding slates, closed captioning, SRT files, etc as needed
• Work quickly and efficiently, and execute during breaking news events
• Learn on the job, from a talented and empathetic team- many of whom started as creative fellows themselves

The ideal candidate has:

• 1-2 years video editing experience
• Portfolio that demonstrates strength in social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat)
• Full proficiency with Adobe Premiere and a working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced, collaborative environment
• You are “very online” and have an interest in what works versus what looks best
• Applications without a portfolio will not be considered
