Victory Church is looking for a accountant to join our staff family in our Finance Department. This person will manage accounting procedures to help accomplish the vision of Victory.The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail and deep knowledge of regional laws/regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial reports, records and general ledgers for consistent bookkeeping and budgetary analysis.
• Expense Reporting Accounting Review
• Bank reconciliations and adjustments
• Account Analysis and adjusting journal entries
• Weekly Management Reporting
• Fixed Assets and monthly depreciation entries
• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Ethics
• Policy Compliance
• Strong math skills
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Ability to handle information confidentially 
• Familiarity with accounting software preferred (Sage Intacct; SAP Concur a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
• Proven experience meeting regular deadlines.
