Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will assist our licensed physical therapists in providing patient care and support. Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions
- Escort patients to treatment areas and help them get settled
- Observe and document patient responses during therapy sessions
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Provide assistance to patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by the physical therapist
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Skills:
- Excellent patient service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to work effectively in a private practice setting
