General Summary:
Seeking an early career Configuration Management (CM) Specialist to join the CM team supporting the GMD Program Office. Responsibilities will include supporting the development and execution of GMD configuration management in accordance with the GMD Element Configuration Management Execution Plan, the development and maintenance of configuration management tools and the execution of functional and physical Configuration Audits.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support development and delivery of a GMD Element Configuration Management Execution Plan IAW the Government Element Configuration Management Plan.
• Maintain the GMD Element Configuration Management Execution Plan on the Integrated Digital Data Environment (IDDE).
• Plan and execute GMD configuration management IAW GMD Element Configuration Management Execution Plan.
• Support integration of GMD Component configuration management products IAW GMD Element Configuration Management Execution Plan.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver GMD configuration management documentation, databases, and models on the IDDE.
• Document and maintain approved GMD Element and Component configuration baseline documentation, artifacts, and Configuration Item/Computer Software Configuration Item identification numbers developed, changed, and/or modified in the GMD Element Configuration Status Accounting System on the IDDE.
• Document and maintain the approved GMD Element Functional, Allocated, and Product Baselines in the GMD Element Configuration Status Accounting System on the IDDE.
• Support GMD Configuration Management Audits IAW GMD Element Configuration Management Execution Plan.
• Support the development, delivery, and maintenance of GMD Element Functional Configuration Audit Plan and Audit Reports on the IDDE.
• Support the GMD Element Functional Configuration Audits IAW GMD Element Functional Configuration Audit Plan.
• Support the Prime in development and delivery of a GMD Element Physical Configuration Audit Plan on the IDDE IAW the Prime's GMD Element Configuration Management Execution Plan.
• Support the execution of Physical Configuration Audits and Audit Reports IAW GMD Element Physical Configuration Audit Plan.

Job Specifications:

• BS Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Configuration Management to include change management, configuration control board, and/or configuration status accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Power Point) is required
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills.
• Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of an organization.
• Former experience with GMD and/or missile defense systems Configuration Management is desired.
• Experience with electronic data management systems is required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance required.
