Position Title : Machine Operator I

Position Type : Non - Exempt

Location (Facility) : VictaulicJustin TXManufacturing

Reports to (Position Title) : ProductionSupervisor

Responsibilities :

• Learn andExecuteelements ofSafe Machine Operation involving the B-25 Band Saw, Shot Blaster, and268 &414 Groover.
• Perform in-process inspections including dimensional verification andsurface prep; performadditionalinspectionspertaining toproductspecification.
• Maintain records of inspections and resultspertaining tojobs.Verifyfinished product'sdimensions and their conformance with drawings, work order specifications.
• Verify propercalibration of all inspection instruments and gaugesfor workstation.
• Know and understand how to properly navigate Medix per job / spool.
• Complete all daily checklists and TPM's.
• Ensure all area 5S dutiesare gettingcompleted.
• Communicate and interact withLine Leads and ShiftSupervisorson maintenance issues needed with the machinery.

Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes) :

• High School Diploma
• Experience in a manufacturing / steel fabrication environmentis preferred.
• Computer literacy of Microsoft Windows softwareis preferred.
• Familiarity with SWI / SOP processes.
• Good understanding of shop math (fraction to decimal) and ability to read tape measure,and measuring tools (caliper, micrometers, vernier scale)preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprintsdesired.
• Good written and oral communication skillsrequired.
• Goodproblem solvingcapabilitiesdesired.
• Must be able to work independently, efficiently and be self-motivated and detail oriented.
