VCA Regional Institute for Veterinary Emergency and Referral (RIVER), located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team. VCA RIVER is a newly remodeled, state-of-the-art facility, along with an accomplished and well-trained team dedicated to delivering the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service. All of our doctors participate in mentoring the interns, supporting their future growth and development. Our multi-specialty group includes Critical Care, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Internal Medicine, and a full-time physical therapist for Rehab services. This type of collaboration makes for a rich and rewarding environment where patient care is optimized and continuous learning. Our large, 10,000 square foot, AAHA accredited facility has six exam rooms and two surgery suites. We are equipped with CT, MRI, digital fluoroscopy, and both rigid and flexible endoscopy. In addition, the physical therapy department has an underwater treadmill and K laser. We also boast the only hyperbaric chamber in the area. Tucked between the mountains of Southeast Tennessee, along with the beautiful Tennessee River, Chattanooga is one of America's most breathtaking cities.
