We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team!

Hospital Details
SKY REHAB, located in Bowling Green, KY is a 60 bed inpatient rehab providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families. SKY Rehab Hospital has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for the following services and specialty programs: Inpatient Rehabilitation (Adults, Adolescents, and Children), Brain Injury Specialty Program (Adults), and Stroke Specialty Program (Adults). Our hospital is also accredited by The Joint Commission.
Responsibilities

Responsible for providing psychological medical services to the patients in the hospital as well as professional, administrative and supervisory services as assigned. The Psychologist has oversight of the unit's clinical services. Develops and implements clinical programming, delivers clinical services as needed, and participates in treatment planning as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of employment required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of types and symptoms of mental disorders and emotional disturbances and ability to perform psycho-diagnostic evaluations of individuals.
  • Knowledge of psychological and neuropsychological testing, data analysis, and subsequent report writing with appropriate recommendations.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
