STATEMENT OF WORK -Autodesk Training-
This Statement of Work (SOW) is for a total of three (3) training classes:
· : Fundamentals Training Class
· : Introduction to Solid Modeling.
· : FEA Fundamentals.
Each class will include up to ten (10) Norfolk Naval Shipyard Lifting & Handling Department (Code 710) personnel.
REQUIREMENTS FOR GENERAL TRAINING OUTLINE
The Government shall receive three (3) individual classes with no more than ten (10) students per class. The class may be up to five (5) days and last for no more than eight (8) hours per day.
TRAINING
· AutoCAD: Essentials (Fundamentals Part 1) will cover the basics of working with AutoCAD software.
· AutoCAD: Beyond the Basics (Fundamentals Part 2) will focus on the topics (i.e. using more advanced
· Autodesk Inventor: Introduction to Solid Modeling will provide an understanding of the parametric design philosophy by using a hands-on or practice-intensive curriculum.
· Autodesk Inventor Nastran: FEA Fundamentals will instruct the user on how to use the Autodesk Inventor Nastran software.
PROJECTS AND STUDENT PARTICIPATION
· The Contractor shall design projects that exercise the Lifting & Handling engineer's ability to perform AutoCAD tasks in the various disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
· The Government shall provide students with the 2021.1.0.407 build of the AutoCAD software for training purposes. The software will be installed on each student's government laptop which he/she will bring to the class to use for the training.
· The Period of Performance (POP) for this work shall be within (1) year of contract award. The Government will at any time within the (1) year Period of Performance (PO schedule all services in this statement of work (SOW).
LOCATION
· The training classes shall be held at Building 1763 at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, or a local contractor's classroom.
