Purpose & Scope :

The Rehabilitation Outpatient Aide performs initial charge reconciliations. Tracks and facilitates return of Medicare Form from physicians.

• Responsible for the following : faxing, completing weekly inventory and ordering supplies as needed; set up and cleanup of treatment areas;
• assisting personnel with transferring patients / materials : assist therapist by setting up and cleaning treatment areas;
• transporting patients from entrance of department as necessary, assisting and / or directing outpatients to the appropriate treatment area as needed, assisting with front office duties as time permits;

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience :

One year of experience in the healthcare field is preferred.

Computer experience is required.

Certification / Licensure :

BLS certification required.
