Full Job Description

One shift is from 1430-1830 Monday to Friday 20 hours Part time. The other position would be 0600-1700 Monday to Friday.

Job Description:

· Security services for large, long-term Government Contract

Responsibilities:

· Complete Electronic Shift Activity Reports.

· Report for duty in a neat, clean, pressed, and in good physical condition uniform and with required equipment.

· Receive phone calls and notifications at guard station and assist caller as needed.

· Monitor all persons entering a building(s) and ensure all personnel are in possession of and display an approved building access badge.

· Escalate security breaches/issues and document activities according to client procedures by calling proper authorities and client contacts.

· Greet and assist all visitors and vendors and call the office to be visited to confirm that the client staff will meet with the visitor or vendor.

· Complete hourly scans at check points, which includes, but is not limited to, facilities and parking areas and provide a check point log.

· Ensure doors, gates, and state vehicles are locked and unlocked as requested by client.

· Report any maintenance problems or hazardous conditions to client building facility manager.

· Patrol the facilities and grounds at random intervals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of one year of security guard experience within the last three years, excluding training.
• Must possess a valid security officer license.
• Must be a high school graduate or hold a GED.
• Must be fluent in English with the ability to receive, give and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to walk unassisted a minimum of 300 yards, climb 3 flights of stairs, and be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• All personnel who will be driving to perform the services under this contract or drive to and from client work locations must 1) possess a valid Driver License acceptable in the state of Texas; 2) have no Driving Under Influence (DUI) or Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) incidents on driving record within the past three years; and 3) have no more than two moving violations on driving record within the past three years.
