Vets Pets is Hiring an Emergency Clinician Near Greenville, NC

Job Description

Job Description
Pet Emergency Clinic of Pitt County is located in Greenville, NC Emergency Clinician ER/Emergency

Pet Emergency Clinic in Greenville, NC, is currently seeking an emergency clinician to join our team of hard-working and dedicated doctors and staff. This full-time, after-hours emergency clinician position is for 10 -12 shifts/4 weeks.

Why Pet Emergency Clinic:

Pet Emergency Clinic, an after-hours emergency hospital, has been locally supported for over a decade. During that time, it has created a strong presence in Eastern North Carolina and experienced amazing growth and its future is very bright.

Located in Greenville, North Carolina, a majority of our clientele works at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!), Vidant Medical Center, and ThermoFisherScientific. Greenville, and its surrounding region, is experiencing significant retail and residential growth as more families move to make the area home. In fact, Greenville has recently been named the top city in the country for relocation by Updater! With a burgeoning downtown, Greenville is considered the cultural hub of Eastern North Carolina. Enjoy downtown or spend your days kayaking locally on the Tar River. Metropolitan Raleigh, historic New Bern, and the beaches of the Outer Banks & the Crystal Coast are all just a short drive away. Housing is very affordable while the salary range is nationally competitive.

PEC has a strong staff able to focus on the shift while having fun along the way. With Idexx blood analyzers, digital radiology, ultrasound, and a Snyder O2 unit all housed in a new building, PEC allows you to treat complicated cases. The cool part is that Pet Emergency Clinic has three sister emergency/specialty hospitals, each within 40-90 mins of Greenville. Our veterinary family loves to share ideas, inventory (who has a unit of pRBCs to spare?), staff, and protocols. The relationship with the referring community is strong and collaborative medicine is the mainstay.

PEC also has a doctors’ suite complete with a full bathroom. This allows someone living outside the area to comfortably sleep and lounge locally while working shifts if desired.
