The Purpose Of This Position Is
- The purpose of this position is to provide cleaning support to the production floor, both manual and automated for all optical surfaces prior to application of thin film coatings.
- This includes the completion of all associated paperwork and electronic transactions using JobBoss Shop Floor Management Software.
- This work is performed primarily in the cleaning room located in the Coating Department.
- Verify serial numbers, count and condition of all materials received in the department for coating
- Daily Enter all inventory information in Coating Department inventory system
- Daily Clean all parts per standard operating procedures and kit per standard load sizes
- Daily Complete all required paperwork and issue Acceptance Test Plans for every lot cleaned, kitted and delivered to the coating department
- Daily Interface with technicians and supervisors from other departments to discuss rejections and ensure timely transition of parts from coating back to rework
- Perform monthly inventory checks to verify accuracy of Coating Department inventory system, and notify Department Supervisor of any discrepancies
- Operation and cleaning of the Ultrasonic clean line per standard operational procedures
- Assisting with the development and improvement of all substrates currently cleaned for coating
- Heat, noise, odors, chemical hazards
- Lifting 35 lbs. daily
- Wearing protective equipment
