10 hour shifts

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

· Demonstrate proper restraint and techniques for procedures and radiology

· Create and review estimates with clients for procedures

· Patient care (phlebotomy, IVC placement, medication administration, nursing tasks)

· Drug Calculations

· Induce, maintain/monitor, troubleshoot and recover patients from general anesthesia

· Monitor varying anesthesia for different risk classifications

· Organize and maintain surgery area and equipment

* Train the team on hospital protocols

* hold the team accountable

Job Requirements:

· Applicant must be flexible with schedule, since we are open 24/7/365, night, weekend and holiday work is required depending on position/department.

· Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand for long periods

· This person (s) should also be patient, enthusiastic, reliable, have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Applicant must be able to multitask efficiently

Experience:

· Veterinary Technician: 3 yr (required), 3 years preferred (anesthesia)

· Experience in specialty (preferred), we are willing to train the right candidate

-on call shifts
