Veterinary Specialty Center of Sturbridge is currently seeking an energetic and compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing team.
Our facility is a Small Animal Specialty and Urgent Care center located in Sturbridge, MA, and we take pride in providing top-quality, cutting-edge service for our patients and clients.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to work collaboratively with our Internal Medicine and Urgent care team. Responsibilities will include organizing the daily activities of the doctor during appointments and procedures, client communications, and computer/data entry.
Technical skills: humane pet restraint, iv catheter placement and venipuncture, medication administration, patient monitoring, filling prescriptions, lab work, be comfortable with blood draws; prepare patients for procedures; administer anesthesia; monitor patients during procedure and recovery; administer fluids.
