The role of Support Engineer is to provide timely and accurate solutions to internal and external customer requests. Our Support Engineers are experts for Applications, Databases, Hardware and Networks. This role will be contracted to work from our Edinburgh Office but with the ability to take a hybrid approach. Experienced Required: Previous experience in a Technical Support role including software or hardware and/or HNC/HND/Degree level in technology related field. Ability to demonstrate ownership, initiative and drive to learn and deliver great resolutions. Your key responsibilities will be: Supporting our external Customers with their applications, hardware and networks via phone, email and live chat. Communicating clearly and collaboratively to keep our Customers informed and recording all details and troubleshooting steps to inform your colleagues and detail resolutions. Becoming a Technical Subject Matter Expert for our in-house developed Practice. Management System Software, Cloud Platform, Client Hardware and Networks. Adhering to all Incident Management, Change Management and other internal Support processes. Collaborating with internal teams to assist with Customer Education and feedback to help shape the future of our products. Supporting the Technical Leads and Support Team Lead to meet internal SLAs.
