Veterinary Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of Virginia is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, hard working individual to join our Gordonsville team. We provide a number of services, products and guidance to best service the animals within our community. This position is a crucial part of the team that sees canines and horses on a day to day basis and will be directly reporting to Dr. Johnson.

Duties include:

• Completing the opening and closing procedure each day at the facility
• This includes but is not limited to kennel/stall cleaning, dishes, laundry, trash removal, vacuuming, moping, wiping down surfaces, ect.
• Providing a high level of customer services to clients
• Handling patients in a safe and stress free manner
• Following the direction and guidance provided by the Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian

Requirements:

• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Is able to work on the floor, squat, bend, ect., as this can be a physically demanding job
• Canine and/or equine behavior knowledge is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
