Why Superior Animal Hospital & Boarding Suites in Superior, WI?

At Superior Animal Hospital we are seeking an enthusiastic, positive veterinarian to join our fabulous team of 6 doctors and 40 support staff. We are an AAHA accredited practice who has been voted “Best of the Best” Veterinary Clinic in Superior, Wisconsin. Offering boarding, wellness care, dental care, urgent care, and emergency services during weekdays. We refer patients to a local emergency service for overnight and weekend/holiday care. Our practice uses state-of-the-art equipment in a beautiful facility with 7 exam rooms. We have an ultrasound machine, dental and general digital radiography, a fully equipped laboratory, therapeutic laser, and in-room lift tables, and offer referral to radiology, oncology, surgery, cardiology, and dermatology specialists that regularly visit our practice or are in our area. Our doctors work as a collaborative team with highly leveraged technicians and assistants. We emphasize a positive workplace culture, with a strong commitment to providing the best possible care to the animals of our community.

We are looking for a full-time doctor to be part of our team who is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills as well as good diagnostic and general surgical skills. New graduates are welcome and will benefit from the mentoring of our supportive and experienced doctor team. Located on the shore of Lake Superior, our practice is in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. There are limitless recreational outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, hunting, and boating on the many lakes and rivers in the area.

Requirements:

  • State Veterinary Board License must be in good standing for the state of Wisconsin, prior to start date.
  • DVM, VMD or equivalent Doctoral Veterinary degree
  • Flexible work schedule
