This is a HYBRID position requiring 2 in-office days at local office per week. Travel costs are not reimbursable.

Role Specifications:
- Design, code, and maintain high-caliber software solutions, with a focus on clear coding practices, testing, and debugging. One must also properly document the programming process.
- Undertake complex enhancements and development of information systems, covering extensive aspects of systems analysis and coding.
- Execute the programming, testing, and documentation of software modifications and expansions.
- Estimate the scale and scope of programming and system tasks accurately.
- Conduct thorough reviews of code to ensure the soundness of software designed by other team members.
- Offer technical assistance for system operations.
- Engage actively in the scheduled rotational system for on-call team support.

Candidate Qualifications:
- While not mandatory, a bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems is highly regarded.
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software or application development, with a strong emphasis on PeopleSoft environments.
- Equivalent expertise with SQL or any other database language, demonstrating proficiency in handling complex, multi-table datasets.
- Demonstrated history of orchestrating integrations between cloud-based services (SaaS) and traditional custom off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
- Solid knowledge of software development tools such as Java, J2EE, Spring (including Spring Boot for Microservices), RESTful services, Spring JPA, JSON structures, Junit, JavaScript, and XML.
- Competent with key modern DevOps and deployment technologies, including but not limited to Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and version control with GitHub.
- Skilled in PeopleSoft application development, including specific technologies such as PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, Component Interfaces, PeopleSoft Queries, Trees, Fluid UI, and SQR.
- Previous experience working with Java batch processing and mainframe systems.
- Proficiency with Linux environments and scripting capabilities.
- Ability to produce clean, well-structured, and reliable code.
- Adeptness with workload automation tools (Preference for candidates with AutoSys familiarity).
- Past work engagements in an Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) setting.
- Proven aptitude for working autonomously and juggling diverse project responsibilities.
- The candidate must show strong problem-solving abilities and technical acumen.
- Excellent communicative proficiency is necessary to liaise effectively with various business unit representatives.
