Veterans Prime is Hiring a Test Technician Near Plano, TX

Overview

Global Power Generation, Industrial Charging and UPS Systems company 

Immediate hiring needs and career development opportunities!!!

Compensation in the $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 depending on experience.

These are full time positions and include a full benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* No travel, in-house support opportunity

* Hands-on assembly position

* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems, including High & Low voltage, Bypass switches, and Capacitors

* Perform basic troubleshooting, support FSTs in the field

* Ability to use test equipment to troubleshoot system operability

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Knowledge of Ohm’s Law and how to apply it

* Prior experience with U.P.S (Uninterruptible Power Supply) highly desirable

* Knowledge of rectifier and inverter highly desirable

* Experience working with high voltage systems - High Voltage (120-680 volt)

* Formal electronic training (Such as Military Training or Associates Degree in Electronics)

* Electrician experience 

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to read and interpret procedures, schematics and product drawings

* A minimum of 4 years of experience working on electronic systems

* Excellent Customer service skills

* Experience with 3-Phase power

* Must understand difference between flow charts, standard block diagrams, and schematics

* Generator Technician experience 

* Knowledge of LOTO protocols and OSHA Instructions
