IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED

Field Service Technician

Full Time Position with Generous Benefits Package

$75-85K first year

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installs, services or repairs electromechanical equipment at the customer's site, our manufacturing sites, or sales and service offices.
• Utilizes hand tools and test equipment, such as multimeters, to perform work.
• Communicates technical issues with the Engineering Department. 
• Field train customers.
• Performs in house phone troubleshooting support to customers.
• Supports sales for product demonstrations.
• Provides a range of known solutions to problems.
• Innovates on the fly to resolve new and unique problems. 
• May be asked to cover after hours phone troubleshooting.
• Will be asked to travel extensively, nationwide.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Performs other duties, as assigned by the manager. 
• Able to book own travel with credit card (reimbursed weekly). 
• Must live within 1 hour of a major airport.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems.
• Knowledge or experience of industrial mechanical systems preferred, but not necessary.
• Expert knowledge of supplied machinery (company provides extensive training).
• Requires travel up to 100% of the time, inclusive of consecutive overnights, between 10-14 days. 
• Ability to accurately and effectively communicate problems and suggest possible solutions
• Good organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
