Overview

Diesel Technician - Up to $30/hr - Day Shift Available - No Travel - Full benefits

Our company is looking for a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC.

We are looking for someone who enjoys diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose diesel engines to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines.
  • Test and tune diesel engines to ensure they are running at optimal levels.
  • Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed.
  • Communicate with customers to explain repair procedures 

Ideal Qualifications

  • Completion of a vocational or technical school program in diesel engine repair or military service
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Shifts

  • 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM-10:00 PM ($1/hour shift differential)
  • Work is done in shop with minimal travel (less than 10%, no overnights)

Pay

  • Up to $30/hr
