JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a part-time, armed (California CCW-certified) security guard for corporate clients in the Bay Area. Agents must provide exceptional customer service and a readiness to respond. An agent must be prepared to operate individually or as part of a small team.

Part-time agents will be obligated to work 12-hour shifts (overtime will be paid after 8 hours) and may be required to work graveyard shifts, holidays, and weekends.

Pay Range: $35-$40 (DOE)

Shift: Part-time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a valid California Guard Card.
Must have a valid Exposed Carry Permit.
Must have CA CCW or HR218.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience providing physical security, surveillance, emergency response, access control, and/or incident management.
Ability to adjust and adapt to different environments and personalities.
Have the legal right to work in the United States.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Provide client customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response, if needed.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
The ambition to be of service and protect others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Not afraid to ask questions.
Be physically fit and able to sit and stand for extended periods.
Maintaining composure when working with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
A professional, friendly, and upbeat communication style.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Possess an associate's or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience and understanding of corporate culture.
Experience with after-action report writing.
Experience in leadership and management.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Google Suite.
Pass a thorough background screening and drug tests.
