Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Avionics Technician to join our team. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems in aircraft. This is a critical role that ensures the safety and functionality of aircraft electronics. Responsibilities: - Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on avionics systems in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) - Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics system malfunctions - Repair or replace faulty components or wiring - Conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of avionics systems - Install new avionics equipment and perform necessary modifications - Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex avionics projects - Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and thoroughly - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems - Proficiency in using power tools for installation and repair work - Familiarity with CATIA software for design and analysis of avionics systems - Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) pertaining to avionics maintenance - Ability to perform soldering and wire harness fabrication - Experience in conducting root cause analysis for troubleshooting purposes - Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined spaces as required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus - Previous experience as an Avionics Technician or similar role is preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and instructions accurately - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
