Wind Turbine Technician II - Bloomfield, Nebraska

• Full-service site with a contract of 12 years remaining.
• Climb 1 turbine a day.
• 7am to 4pm M-F, on-call rotation tends be to 3weeks per month (normally ends up being 1)
• OT is built-in with the daily hours.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

In this position you'll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis / troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.

During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Bloomfield, NE, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day, with seasonal higher average of overtime.

You also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1 turbinea day.

MORE ABOUT YOU

• You will need a safety-focused mindset andcan identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
• Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
• You will bring at least a year of wind experience or at least 1-2years of experience in transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work
