Construction Cost Analyst

As a Construction Cost Analyst, you will support Offshore Wind Turbine Sales, specifically Construction Costing through the entire sales process from early engagement to contract signing. You will work as part of a team of skilled offshore wind professionals including Construction Proposal Managers and subject matter experts in Marine, Ports, Logistics and Construction topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Create cost calculations for projects between $100M and $600M in value to support Construction Proposal Managers in offshore sales activities.
  • Prepare operational cost review presentations to support review and approval within the proposal process.
  • Support development of offshore cost models and database creation.
  • Support offshore construction cost estimation, review and benchmarking.
  • Maintain assumptions and relevant content within models and databases to establish historical trends.
  • Complete ad-hoc sales related business case analyses supporting the Construction strategy.
  • Identify and review key cost drivers and sensitivities with stakeholders for optimization of cost control.
  • Review and factor cost risks to project proposals with the Construction Proposal Managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or technical field related to modeling and simulation
  • Good economic/financial modeling skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of VBA, SQL script etc.
  • Solid critical skills and ability to make business case comparisons for internal and external presentation.
  • Ability to perform under high pressure with shifting deadlines and innovative work environment handling multiple deliverables.

  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on detailed tasks
  • Good attitude for teamwork.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical conduct, honesty, and integrity.
