Veruca is a startup offering grocery delivery to customers within 30 minutes! We operate out of microwarehouses that drive to a community daily to fulfill and deliver orders directly out of the microwarehouse. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter to join our team and become the manager of one of our microwarehouses and locations.

Duties and responsibilities of this position may include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage one microwarehouse trailer location and all part-time employees needed at your location.
• Manage all inventory ordering and purchase orders for your location.
• Pick up trailer and drive it to your location daily.
• Ensure we have enough delivery team members and ebikes.
• Set daily goals and motivate your team.
• Confirm the street team has marketing material and daily/weekly goals.
• Learn about the specific needs and product needs of your area and report back to our purchasing team.
• Check for expired products and overall product quality, remove from inventory as needed.
• Make sure trucks, gas cans and generators are filled and ready.
• Keep trailers organized, orderly, and maintained.
• Routinely check trailers (and all components) and e bikes for maintenance issues. Report any issue immediately.
• Pack and pick orders in an effective and timely manner.
• Oversee all orders going out by delivery drivers for accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications/Experience

• 3-5 years experience managing and leading a team.
• Experience driving a large trailer behind a truck. Class C license would be a plus!
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position will typically work a 1pm-9pm shift weekdays and/or a 9am-5pm shift on weekends. If you are not comfortable with this schedule please do not apply.
