V2X is looking for a highly motivated Software/Systems Engineer to join a small multi-discipline team of engineers supporting the Transportation Technology and Tolling Solutions (T3S) OmniToll product line in software development, integration, and test efforts. This opportunity is for an experienced engineer (10 years) to serve in an IPT lead role as part of a senior product line team working in an agile development environment. Flexibility to work hybrid schedule with remote and on-site availability in the Metro West, MA area. Desired technical skills listed below.

• Automation integration (More than once, automate it whenever possible with any available means)
• Virtualized systems & environments
• 10 years program engineering experience in Object Oriented Design
• Familiarity with using Linux/Unix workstation and familiar with Linux commands
• Experienced in using integrated software development tools, such as Jenkins, GIT, VisualStudio
• Experience with HTML and XML schemas
• Knowledge of communication technology such as TCP/IP, HTTP
• Experienced in using software development tools, such as gradle/Eclipse/artifactory
• Has worked in an Agile/Scrum environment and is familiar with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Candidate should be well versed in software configuration management and version control, preferably has used Git
