Position Overview

Join our dynamic team at Versa Products Company, Inc. as a Shipping Clerk! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing, preparing, and shipping customer orders, ensuring they receive their high-quality valves and accessories on time. With your attention to detail and commitment to excellence, you'll play a key part in upholding our reputation for exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and match paperwork with customer items received from our Stockroom and Assembly departments, maintaining a keen eye for accuracy.
• Utilize our state-of-the-art ERP system to enter order information, following our established rules and procedures.
• Perform Pack ID Closing and Printing according to the required consolidation or shipping schedule, ensuring timely delivery.
• Meticulously package customer orders to prevent damage during the shipping process, showcasing your commitment to quality.
• Efficiently strap boxes, load skids, and shrink wrap them for pickup by carriers, demonstrating your strong organizational skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and contributing to our positive team culture.
• Embrace opportunities for growth by completing additional duties or special projects as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills to navigate our ERP system and shipping software.
• A dependable and positive attitude, ready to contribute to our supportive team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations.

Abilities Required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, ensuring the safe handling of our products.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage a high volume of orders efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail to guarantee the accuracy of each shipment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in our team-oriented culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
