Verrica Pharmaceuticals Inc., a dermatology therapeutics company developing medications for skin diseases requiring medical intervention, is looking for highly motivated pharmaceutical sales professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to support the launch of YCANTH™, the first and only FDA approved treatment for molluscum contagiosum, a viral skin disease primarily affecting children.

This is a part-time contractor role (approximately 20 hours/week) and comes with a competitive hourly rate, opportunity for a quarterly bonus, and the potential for additional performance incentives. It is an ideal opportunity for candidates with prior pharmaceutical sales experience who are looking for rewarding part-time work with a flexible work schedule.

• Substantive experience in pharmaceutical sales - dermatology or pediatrics is highly preferred.
• Possess a skill set for prospecting for new customers, driving lead follow-up, and favorably positioning YCANTH™ to new clients in the assigned region.
• Talent to train and educate customers on the merits and proper usage of YCANTH.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting sales goals and targeted call volumes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and capability to use appropriate formats and platforms to drive business.
• Keen ability to work independently, while being an integral part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science or a related field.
