The Borough of Verona is looking to hire two or more part time police officers. We are looking for officers to work up to 32 hours per week. Applicants must have their ACT 120 certification prior to being hired. Positions will be available until filled. The application can be downloaded at www.veronaborough.org or picked up in person at the Verona Police Department, located at 736 E Railroad Avenue, Verona, PA 15147. The hourly wage is $21.22.
Additional benefits offered to part time officers include: annual uniform allowance, time and a half for holidays worked, and paid time off after one year of service for officers working at least three days per week.
