Substitute support staff play a necessary and valuable role in the education of our students, as studies have shown that over the course of a student's career, they will have spent the equivalent of a full school year with substitutes.

VASD substitutes enjoy flexibility in work locations and work days. As a substitute, you can choose which schools you would like to work in and determine your own availability. VASD substitutes are not required to work a minimum number of days.
