Vero Networks is Hiring a Corporate Controller Near Denver, CO

Vero Broadband Inc. is currently seeking a candidate for a full-time Corporate Controller role. This position will report to the SVP of Finance and is responsible for the leadership and management of the corporate accounting function for all Vero entities, including compliance and treasury management. As Vero Broadband, Inc. Corporate Controller, you will maintain a clear view of the big picture, be focused on establishing scalable, efficient processes that can be measured, improved, and automated as the company expands, opportunity for financial system integrations, while also completing the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual close in a timely manner. You will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced, self-managed environment. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee monthly financial reporting cycle for accurate and timely statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Complete consolidations monthly of all Vero entities.
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures to ensure GAAP compliance.
  • Implement improvements in processes and internal controls to maximize and protect company resources.
  • Partner with SVP of Finance and business unit leads for annual audit and treasury functions.
  • Manage accounting function to produce pertinent, accurate, and clear financial data.
  • Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board and financial partners.
  • Lead ERP system implementation, ensuring full integration with all financial systems organization-wide.
  • Provide financial analysis as needed for business development initiatives.
  • Manage general ledger/close teams and payroll functions for individual business units.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Collaboration with finance leads for accurate cash flow forecasting.
  • Perform risk management by analyzing organizations liabilities and operations.
  • Set overall accounting strategy and metric objectives for treasury, tax, accounting, financial reporting, insurance, and credit and financing relationships.
  • Grow and manage corporate and business unit accounting teams.
  • Participate in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Lead accounting integration of acquired entities.
  • Manage financials across complex multi-entity structure, including consolidation and analysis of financial data from multiple entities.
  • Drive integration of acquired businesses into existing corporate structure.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans for seamless transition of new businesses into financial systems and processes.
  • Spearhead implementation of financial systems, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and compliance requirements.
  • Optimize existing financial systems for enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement improvements for increased effectiveness.

  • Full time/exempt
  • Remote
  • $125,000-155,000 depending on experience
