Job Overview:
Verner-Cadby Ford in Fairfield, NJ, needs a Parts Department counter person. Applicants must be dependable and well-organized and able to handle ordering procedures for retail, wholesale and internal customers. Must be capable of pulling parts from inventory and determining availability and submitting orders as required. Ford Dealership experience is a requirement. A clean driving record is a must. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain an organized and clean counter area
- Stock shelves and ensure inventory is properly displayed
- Answer phone calls and take orders.
Requirements:
- Previous Ford dealership experience.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of automotive parts and service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Must be able to lift heavy items when necessary
