Vermont Permanency Initiative (New England School for Girls) in southern Vermont is hiring a Science Teacher to provide general education services and work collaboratively as part of a team with planning, instructing, and special education services. VPI is a grade sixth through grade twelve residential school. Applicants must be eligible for a teaching license in Vermont.Our ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of multiple content areas of science, knowledge of Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards, the Vermont Proficiency-based Graduation Requirements, and 21st Century learning, understanding and applications of best practices in teaching and learning in science.
