Vermont Natural Coatings, Inc manufactures PolyWhey®, the next generation of wood finish, stains and paints. All aspects of the company take place at our facilities in Hardwick, VT. To support our growth and mission we are seeking a motived team member to help advance our innovative environmentally safe technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain lab and support quality control program
Follow protocols and procedures for testing products
Support formulation reviews and audits
Research new ingredients and sources
Maintain and improve:
Safety of products
Product performance
Efficiency and opportunities for streamlining formulations and processes
Test, document and report VNC products against competition
Be expert in competition’s product lines
Technical assistance and support
Be resource for technical issues in the field
Trouble shoot, test and help resolve issues
Product development
Support the develop new innovate safe products
Position requirements
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Excel
Able to safely lift and move 50 pound pails and boxes
Detailed, safe, professional work habits and quality control skills
Able to work in a high output, small business environment
Willing to participate in new and ongoing projects
Self-motivated
Compensation : Competitive salary, paid holidays and two weeks of paid sick/vacation days.
