Description
Position Purpose:
This full-time CDL position reports to the Logistics Manager and is entitled to all benefits. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: driving, distributing, loading, and unloading Vermont Foodbank vehicles safely at various communities in Vermont. In addition to these primary responsibilities, this position regularly interacts with community members with diverse backgrounds and stories. This position will provide support at multiple distribution sites across the state and will work alongside volunteers ensuring the safe handling of products and creating a positive experience for those seeking Vermont Foodbank services. This position is regularly called upon to support general warehouse activities, which may include food reclamation activities, storage and moving of product and equipment, and other various tasks. This position will work closely with the Warehouse and Facilities teams and members of the Community Impact Department.
