In this role you will follow digital instructions and other written and verbal specifications to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. We’re looking for a dependable team player to build machines for customers across the globe.

What You’ll Do
1. Follow digital instructions to assemble equipment and subassemblies for attachment to equipment per Vermeer's quality standards.
2. Align components and bolts then fasten them according to torque specifications, install moving parts and test to ensure parts move as intended.
3. Inspect painted parts to ensure quality.
4. Apply decals, company logos, safety warning notices and other items to the finished product. May also attach doors, panels and other machine guarding.
5. Calculate figures and apply basic mathematical functions including fractions and decimals.
6. Support 5S/workplace organization goals of the department and offers suggestions and makes improvements that assist in achieving the department’s performance board metrics.
What We’re Looking For
- One to three months production experience and/or training preferred. Successful completion of Vermeer Assembly Training Program.
- Ability to complete a specified number of tasks in a certain amount of time repeatedly.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals throughout the organization.

Work Location
