POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales, Parts and Service departments at our Cincinnati location.
• Oversee and execute Parts and Service responsibilities as needed.
• Seek to build relationships with both team members and customers to set Vermeer Heartland up as a trusted partner.
• Enhance the customer experience by collaborating cross-functionally with all departments and effectively supporting the territory Market and Lifecycle Solutions Specialists. 
• Perform inside sales duties for walk-in customers seeking to purchase new equipment, collaborating with Market Specialist as needed.
• Work closely with the Washington Court House, OH store to leverage resources that support customer needs.
• Manage all personnel at the Cincinnati store, including conflict resolution, time-off management, performance conversations and more.
• Oversee the activity and appearance of the showroom, service shop and outdoor property.
• Ensure communication between customers and team members is effective, including documentation when needed.
• Monitor profit and loss statements to ensure key performance indicators are being met.
• Actively participate in routine training courses as assigned, while continuously seeking out opportunities to learn and develop.

• Excellent people management and communication skills for both internal co-workers and external customers and suppliers.
• High-level computer proficiency and demonstrated familiarization with CDK operating system.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or related field is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of Vermeer Heartland or direct industry experience is preferred.
• Minimal travel may be expected.
